3. Bus From Yala and Narathiwat to Phuket through Trang

From Betong, Yala, the bottom of Thailand or Su-ngai Kolok, Narathiwat to Trang will be around 6 hours on bus. The bus when pass through Phatthalung will be on Asian Highway to Na Yong district, Trang, stop at Sai Jai Cake shop then will continue to Krabi then Phuket. Traveling by train, the destination of the Andaman route

This is another choice to go to Trang, by train is suitable for adventurous tourists for the new experiences. Traveling comfortably without any rushing. The route start from Bangkok Railway Station, Rama 4 road which is the classic and exotic train station. It has been built since the late of King Rama 5th period on B.E. 2453 but opened with the first train on B.E. 2459 or King Rama 6th period which is aged almost 100 years 

“Hua Lum Pong Train Station” is the architecture of Italian Dome mixed with Renaissance, decorated with extremely fine patterns. The ladder and pillar at the front made from marble. Especially, the ceiling made from anaglyph wood, the both side of air passage covered with colored glasses, it is integrated smoothly with the building. The ancient clock which as big as the size of its building which attached in the top and middle of the station, it was specially made by order. For tourists who arrived to the station, I want you to taste the feeling of the atmosphere and exquisite of Hua Lum Pong before the train starting to depart from the station to your destination. In present, State Railway of Thailandhas a southern route from Bangkok to Trang which has 2 trains as:

1. Express departure from The Bangkok Railway Station at 17.05 to Trang Railway Station at 07.55. The distance is 845 kilometers.
2. Speed departure from The Bangkok Railway Station at 18.30 to Trang Railway Station at 10.31.

For return trains from Trang – Bangkok is also 2 trains as well.

1. Speed departure from Trang Railway Station at 13.25 to The Bangkok Railway Station at 05.15.
2. Express departure from Trang Railway Station at 17.20to The Bangkok Railway Station at 08.25.

Traveling by car : Drive through South Andaman

To drive chilly through South Andaman is suit to tourists who love freedom, which could stop by anywhere as you wish. From Bangkok to Trang is about 828 kilometers and could be continue to Satun for 120 kilometers. The southern highway is quite convenient, some part is 4 lanes-road, easily to drive. We have 2 routes which is fastest and convenient.

1st route
From Bangkok, use the Rama 2 road to Highway No. 4 (Phet Kasem Road) through Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon. Between Prachuap Khiri Khan is 300 kilometers distance, you should stop by and take a rest. For tourists who want to drive chilly, should stop over at Chumphon for a night. From Chumphon a little while you will reach Pathom Phon square, we recommend to use Southern Seaboard road which is the By Pass road to Ao Luek, Krabi without pass through Pang Nga. This route has no construct and no gas station, please stop for fill up the gasoline and for restroom in advance, it will take a while for this route. When you reached Ao Luek, keep going a little while you will reach Krabi and pass through Krabi to Trang and Satun.

2nd route
From Bangkok, use the Rama 2 road to Highway No. 4 (Phet Kasem Road) through Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon then continue to Highway No. 41 through Nakhon Si Thammarat, then you can choose between Highway No. 4, Nakhon Si Thammarat – Phatthalung Rattaphum, Song Kla province then turn right into Highway No. 406 to Satun ( Distance : 973 Kilometers) or Thung Song district, Nakhon Si Thammarat, then turn right to Highway No. 403 to Huai Yot, Trang, about 50 kilometers distance. If you continue to go on Highway No.404 through Palian district, Trang then turn left into Highway No. 416 pass Thung Wa and La Ngoo district into Satun.

To drive in long distance, the driver should check the car and himself, should get a lot of sleep before driving. You should stop by gas station along the way which has restroom, convenience store, restaurant. Some of the gas station could have hotel as well.

To Travel by Boat from Phuket, Krabi to islands in Trang sea, Li-pe island, Satun

For the high season to travel by ferry and speed boat is so popular among foreign tourists which has the return routes and also many stops around Andaman sea. The stops will be from Ao Chalong pier, Phuket / Phi Phi island pier/ Sala Dan pier, Lan Ta island/ Jam island, Krabi/ Ngai island – Kradan island – Mook island, Trang sea / Hat Yao pier, Trang/ Bulon island / Li-pe island, Satin to stop at the destination at Awana pier or Telaka pier, Langkawi island, Malaysia. This route will open only in the high season of each year, from November to the end of April only. To travel by van to Trang, Satun

To travel by van to the neighboring provinces is also popular as it is fast and convenient. Trang provincial Administrative Organization and Ta Klang Deon Rot Ltd., has joined to open the route for minibus around Trang for people, students, bachelors and tourists to solve the traffic problems in Trang and neighbor areas. As well as to be another choice for the passengers to choose which is cheap and safe. The minibus will be available every day, it will departure every 30 minutes. There is 2 routes of the minibus which is the Orange line, No. 7 and the Blue line, No. 8. It is only 12 baht throughout the line.

Orange Line, No.7 l Trang Bus Terminal – around the city l

Orange line minibus will have separated to be 2 routes by run oppositely to each other. The first minibus will departure from Trang Bus Terminal at 05.40 and the last one is at 9.30

Start Trang Bus Terminal turn right to Highway No. 4 (Trang- Phattalung) passed Robinson Shopping Mall, Phraya Ratsadanu Pradit Mahisorn Phakdi Park, Wattanapat Hospital, Trang Regional Revenue Office, Trang Office of Non-formal and Informal Education, Anuban Trang School, Juan Phoo-wa, Pha-Yoon roundabout, Mueang Trang Police Station, King Rama V Monument to Kho Khun square then turn right along Wi Set Kul road to Mhee square then turn right along Huai Yot road to Wat Kutiyaram square, turn right to Pleon Pituk road passed Panyawit school, turn left along Sri Trang road, passed Performance Standards of Child Development Centers, Wat Nikhro Tharam, Nursing School, Trang Hospital, turned right to Wien Ka Pung Sulin road, arrived Phraya Ratsadanu Pradit Mahisorn Phakdi Park then turned left to Highway No. 4 (Trang – Phatthalung) and end up at Trang Bus Terminal.

The Loop Left

Start Trang Bus Terminal turn right to Highway No. 4 (Trang- Phattalung) passed Robinson Shopping Mall, Phraya Ratsadanu Pradit Mahisorn Phakdi Park, turn left to Wien Ka Pung Sulin road then along to Sri Trang road, pass Trang Hospital, Trang Nursing School, Wat Nikhro Tharam, Performance Standards of Child Development Centers, turn right to Ploen Pitak road, pass Panyawit school, arrived Wat Kutiyaram square turn left to Hua Yot road, arrived Mhee square turn left to Wi Set Kul road, arrived Ko Khun square turn left to Highway No.4 ( Trang – Phatthalung) pass King Rama V Monument, Mueang Trang Police Station, Pha-Yoon roundabout, Juan Phoo-wa, Anuban Trang School, Trang Office of Non-formal and Informal Education, Trang Regional Revenue Office, Wattanapat Hospital , Phraya Ratsadanu Pradit Mahisorn Phakdi Park, then turn left to Trang –Phatthalung road to end up at Trang Bus Terminal

Blue Line, No. 8 l Trang Bus Terminal – Trang Train Station

The first minibus will departure from Tran Bus Terminal at 06.00 and the last one is at 19.30.

The route start from Trang Terminal turn right to Highway No.4 ( Trang- Phatthalung) pass Robinson Shopping Mall, Phraya Ratsadanu Pradit Mahisorn Phakdi Park, Wattanapat Hospital, Trang Regional Revenue Office, then turn left at Trang Office of Non-formal and Informal Education to Jerm Punya road pass Siribun Mall, arrived Porn Siri Kul square turn left to Rassadang pass Trang Stadium, arrived Ton Smor square turn right to Khlong Num Jed road, arrived  Sarika square tuen right to Wi Set Kul road, pass Wat Kwuan Wi Set school, Trang branch of Tourism Authority of Thailand, Saparachinee Trang School, arrived Clock Tower turn left to Rama 6 Road to the end up at Bus stop at Trang Train Station and the return route will be go back the same route.
